One of my favorite wardrobe staples that I own in many colors, is the satin slip skirt. I love maximizing my wardrobe, and few other pieces can transition so easily between occasions, aesthetics and seasons. A satin slip skirt is one of those pieces you’re going to get so much use out of, a garment that you can style for day times but for a night out as well. I love how great it looks when mixed with different textures like heavy knits, leather, and chunky boots that contrast with the luxurious feel of satin.
The outfits that can be created with a skirt like that are countless, I am just showing you three looks that I wore recently. There is the option of creating a feminine look, by wearing it with a romantic blouse and pumps or strappy sandals. But if you are opting for a more laid back, tomboyish vibe, you can pair your skirt with a rock t-shirt or chunky sweater and sneakers. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen on my stories that I wore this skirt yesterday with a camel turtleneck sweater, oversized blazer and combat boots.
Pro Tip: You can wear your satin slip dress like like a skirt too!
1. Super casual: Satin skirt & sneakers
2. Satin skirt, sweater & pumps
3. Dressed up: Long coat & ankle boots
