I can’t believe that Paris Fashion Week has already come and gone! I had a great time, saw amazing shows and loved the S/S ’18 trends and collections. Among my favorite trends for next season are the bold embroideries and prints, dresses worn with sneakers (aw Louis Vuitton), pastels, red-carpet potential dresses and deconstructed outerwear, like the deconstructed blazer I wore on the first day of Paris Fashion Week.
The key piece of my outfit for the first day of Paris Fashion Week was this deconstructed blazer with asymmetrical cut and stripes. Having seen a lot of deconstructed pieces on the runways for next season, this blazer will definitely be on repeat! And if you like it as much as I do, it’s on sale!
I styled my deconstructed blazer with a simple white shirt dress, my new baker boy hat from Isabel Marant and these boots that add the right amount of edge to the look. I finished with the Chanel boy bag (check outfit details below for second hand options). I wore this look to attend the FFF show with my gal Miki, and the KOCHÉ show afterwards.
My go-to pattern during pregnancy is stripes. I find that every other pattern, especially florals, looks a bit too much on me at this time. I only realized at the end of PFW that all my outfits were striped or black! I have to admit it was challenging dressing the bump to be Fashion Week appropriate. I was at that time that regular clothes are too small for me and maternity clothes are too big.
What do you think about this look? As always, I look forward to read your thoughts on the comments below!
